    A: The Vital Swing is a low-impact and passive aerobic exerciser or circulation machine.The concept was originally based on principles of traditional Chinese medicine and designed to balance the natural energy in our bodies. The motion of the of Vital Swing leads to increased blood flow in the legs and up through the back, which can relieve pain, improve circulation, improve lymphatic drainage and provide many other benefits.

    Q. How does the Vital Swing work?

    A: Many people find the Vital Swing exercise soothing and use it as a calming way to start their nighttime routine as well as an energizing way to start their mornings.

    STEP 1: Before using your Vital Swing Therapeutic Wellness Machine, dress in comfortable clothing but remove socks and shoes if you plan to use the red lights.

    STEP 2: You should drink a glass of water, but avoid having a meal right before your session to avoid heartburn.

    STEP 3: Plug in your Vital Swing and stretch controller to where you can reach it when laying down. Be sure your support disk and pad are also within reach.

    STEP 4: With your feet over the red lights, set your ankles in the padded ankle rests, just above your ankle bone.

    STEP 5: Stretch out so that you are lying flat with your ankles in the rests. Place the support disk with pad under your bottom so that your body makes a straight line with your shoulders resting firmly on the ground. You may put your arms to your side, straight over your head, or bent with your hands under your neck, whichever is most comfortable for you.

    STEP 6: Press the SWING or VIBRATION button to start motion.

    STEP 7: Use the +/- buttons to increase or decrease the swing speed or vibration level. Ideal swing speed will vary based on your height and weight; the rhythm should rock your body in an “S” motion from your ankles to your shoulders. Relax your body and adjust speed up or down to find your ideal swing speed.

    STEP 8: Press the TIMER button to set a specific exercise time. You should start with 2-3 minutes until your body becomes strong enough to handle longer times. You can work up to 15 minutes per session. Once you have finished your swing exercises, remain lying on the floor for another 1-2 minutes before getting up; you have just increased your circulation and you might feel lightheaded or odd if you try to stand immediately. Your Vital Swing will automatically turn off at the end of the timer.

    Q. How do I use the red light feature?

    A: Red light therapy has been shown to reduce oxidative stress and increase adenosine triphosphate (ATP) production which can increase energy and regeneration. Red light therapy can be added to either swing or vibration mode or can be used alone. With feet directly on the red lights you also experience the benefits of acupressure points and magnets.

    STEP 1: Remove socks and shoes. Sit in a chair or lay down, placing the soles of your feet directly on the lights.

    STEP 2: Press RED LIGHT to turn on red light therapy.

    STEP 3: Press RED LIGHT again to turn off.

    Swinging It

    I noticed a significant difference In my legs. I wear compression socks daily. Since using Vital Swing I do not get those horrible creases in my stockings. My ankles are actually smaller. I haven’t changed a single thing other than vital swing. I just don’t retain water as I did before. I also seem to have more energy. Never that something so simple could make a difference! Joe

    It has been of great assistance for my condition. Lymphadema has plagued one leg over the past 5 yrs due to cancer surgery. It escalated this spring and turned into cellutlitis. Anything that can improve lymph drainage is of great help. Elevation above my heart and the vital swing one to two times a day has improve my health. Thank you.

    Interesting concept

    The Vital Swing seems to have merit in terms of relaxing the back and abdominal muscles. Because it needs to be used on the floor and my mobility is less than optimum, it was not a good investment for me.

    Vital Swing Usage

    So far, I like it - have not used the laying on the floor swing yet. I have been using it for my feet & legs which seem to have a circulation problem. When first using it I thought the nubs felt like pins & needles, but each time since I do not notice that anymore, it seems that my feet were very sensitive in the beginning, but are adapting. It helps with the circulation in my legs.
