Goodbye 2020

Tonight we put 2020 to bed.

And I know a lot of you are thinking... good riddance.

Between the despair and division, 2020 really tested us to our core.

But amid the chaos, there was some good to come out of this year.

If you look really closely, you can find little nuggets of hope and joy.

One of the most heartwarming things to come out of 2020 was the sharp increase in animal adoptions here in the U.S.

With folks stuck working from home or out of work with lots of extra time on their hands… people turned to animals for comfort and companionship.

Shelters were cleared. Rescues reported record-long waiting lists.

And thousands of Americans got to experience, maybe for the first time, the joy of having a pet.

Another fantastic thing that happened in 2020? Folks started to unplug and look for ways to spend time without a screen.

Bike sales surged. Board games and puzzles were suddenly "cool" again. And, home gardening exploded.

But perhaps most wonderful of all was the way folks rallied to support each other.

People really stepped up to take care of their communities.

Folks dusted off their sewing machines to make masks for those that needed them most.

Restaurants prepared complimentary meals for overworked essential workers and families that had fallen on hard times.

And we gave, both in our time and our wallets, to charitable groups helping to keep folks safe and healthy.

For the most part, the pandemic brought out the best in us.

I know when I look back on 2020, there will be a lot I would like to forget.

But amid the darkness, I tend to look for the light.

So, along with all the miserable memories I have of this year, I hope I'll remember some of the good.

All the new pups Ellie and I saw on our daily walks. Neighbors sharing the bounty from their new gardens. And the generosity of my community coming together to help those in need.

Little silver linings on this gloomiest of years.

God Bless and Happy New Year!

Hi Jeff,
I just wanted to say I really liked your email on Silver Lining of 2020. It is nice to see that others try to see the positive instead of always dwelling on the negative.
Happy new year,
Joanne

Hi Jeff,
Thanks for your letter about 2020. The best thing I have done in 2020 is to look to the Lord Jesus Christ,
for love, peace and joy! He can answer all our problems, and gives us the free gift of eternal life! All we
need to do is look in our Bibles! What could be better than that? John 3:16 teaches that, "For God So
Loved the World, that He Gave His only Son, that whosoever believes in Him will not perish, but Have
Everlasting Life! And Read Romans 10:verses 9 and 10, for more information! GOD LOVES YOU!

You are so right, things weren’t as bad for me as for others.I was working the whole time.I made a major change in my life, but it was better for me.I retired at the end of November(WOO HOO).I found out that I made such a good decision.I worked at a WALMART store and after I retired the store ended up having a bunch of cases of COVID happen.I am really trying to get myself much healthier and protect my health.I am very grateful to have found out about your product.I just have taken my first supplement this morning. The taste of it is pretty good.

THANK YOU SO MUCH. JEFFREY WEAVER.

I just want to say thank you – for the positive and informative emails that are not direct marketing, for those that encourage good health and support animal welfare. They’re gems to find in my inbox.
