Easter Traditions

Easter's a big deal this year. Well, it's a big deal every year. I've always loved it. But this year, some folks may finally be celebrating Easter together, with friends and family, for the first time in a long time.

And that thought alone puts a huge smile on my face. It’s time for "normal" to make a comeback.

I can’t wait to get together with my family. Every year we pretty much do the same thing, but it's always a blast.

First we attend our Sunday Service.

Then we dye some eggs… which is always messy fun. And of course the Easter egg hunt that follows is even better.

But this is where I used to "grab a seat." Because, I'll be honest, the older I’ve gotten the less my hips agree with me.

At 1 point, I was relying on some over-the-counter stuff. But it took forever to work. So, you know me — I started doing my own digging. And eventually my research showed me something that really helped me out. I started taking it everyday. And now, I'm off to the races again.

Maybe one of these Easters I'll hang up the racing stripes & hit the pit crew. But not this year!

What Easter traditions do you and your family love? I'd love to hear about them.

Enjoy your weekend. And Happy Easter everyone!
