How busy is too busy?
If there's a consistent theme when it comes to not sticking with healthy habits it's this one.
And it has nothing to do with money.
Or knowing what to do.
It's how "busy" we all are.
To read the emails I get, there are a lot of "overwhelmed" folks out there.
Maybe you're one of them.
Too much to do and too few hours in the day to do it all.
But stop and think about it for just a second.
How much better would you feel if you weren't as tired? Or achy? Or carrying around those pounds you wish you had time to lose?
When all is said and done, your health is the ultimate productivity "trick."
Because when you're less stressed, have more energy, or can go longer without feeling like you need a nap, you're going to get more done without even thinking about it.
So committing to getting more done, especially when it comes to your health and the habits that build you up, it starts day by day.
And you need to let yourself "succeed" each day.
When you get up in the morning, pick a goal. And get at least that one thing done.
You don't need to be perfect. And it's easier to give yourself a break when you step back and realize that you've got one in the win column that day.
Even better, pick 3-5 things that matter to you. And do this (important): write them down.
The fact is, there are a billion and one things we could do each day. And sometimes it feels like there's that many that we have to do.
But focus on the things that breed health and progress.
Everything impacts everything. When you feel good, it's easier to be healthy.
And when you're healthy, it's easier to feel good.
Make sense?
Good. Don't let the weekend get away without doing something good – for you.
