You deserve a smile.

With all the rightful grumbling about social media and what a mess it's become at times, maybe it's time to give credit where it's due.

Because there is one thing on social media that brings a smile to my day nearly every time I see it.

UPS Dogs.

UPS drivers encounter a lot of things on their routes. Especially now with so many folks shopping online. And apparently, they run into a lot of dogs who want to be their friends…

Especially when the truck has a bucket of treats on board.

Some of these dogs wait anxiously for the truck to come by, and even run up inside the trucks to greet their new friends…

It's like when my kids used to wait for the ice cream man.

I'm sure there are some angry, territorial or dangerous mutts out there. But these UPS drivers don't seem to run into them.

Instead, their reward for a hard day's work is a route filled with wagging tails, slobbery kisses and begging for a treat.

Oh, so much begging.

And for you cat lovers out there, you'll find them here too. Even an occasional horse.

Admittedly, sites like Facebook can be a time suck and a way to throw yourself down a rabbit hole of trying to keep up with the Joneses at times.

But a consistent, small break that delivers a smile – everyone needs that in their life.

These UPS drivers seem to really love sharing pictures with their furry friends. And with a million folks out there following the new postings, other people do too.

Count me among them.
